Better experiences begin with listening

An optional way to listen

An anonymous option
for more candid feedback.

Choose an anonymous survey when names and contact details are not part of the feedback you need.

The choice starts with the sender

Choose the right mode.

Identified surveys can associate feedback with a person. Anonymous mode is intended to avoid identity collection and respondent tracking. The survey owner selects the mode before sharing; respondents cannot turn an identified invitation into an anonymous one. Always read the notice before answering.

What respondents see

A clear invitation.
An informed choice.

The introduction should explain the survey’s purpose and how answers are handled. Here is the actual notice used in our examples.

Leave identifying details out.

A written answer can identify someone even when no name field is present. Avoid names, contact details, and details that could identify you or someone else.

The boundaries matter

Anonymity is more than a missing name field.

Our static examples do not submit answers or include respondent tracking. Loading a hosted webpage is a separate process: hosting providers may process connection information. These examples do not establish how the operating platform stores responses or handles hosting logs.

Production anonymity needs verification across links, response storage, hosting, and reporting. For employee feedback, group sizes and reporting filters also matter. A shared, untracked link cannot reliably guarantee one answer per person.
